Tamilnadu Chamber of Commerce & Industry

The Tamilnadu Chamber of Commerce & Industry was established in the year 1924 at Madurai with just 24 members with the primary object of serving the cause of Trade and Industry. Over the years, it has steadily grown in strength and has diversified its services and activities. The present membership strenght of the Chamber is around 6500 with more than 350 smaller Chambers and Trade Associations affiliated to it. By far, it is now the largest Chamber in India.

Aim Mission Vision Activities

Holding Conferences, Workshops and Seminars Conduction Meetings addressed by eminent personalities on subjects relevant to Trade and Industry making effective and timely representations to State and Central Governments to redress the grievances of Trade and Industry motivating people to start new industries persuading the Central and State governments to provide necessary infrastructural facilities for the development of Trade and Industry and also execution of various projects for the benefit of the general public offering pin-point comments on Government Budgets, Bills and Policies arranging deputations to the Dignitaries taking delegations abroad for promoting EXIM Trade and Joint Ventures Conducting Trade Fairs for the promotion of Trade & Industry giving Press Releases on all important matters issue of periodical circulars to members on matters concerning Trade and Industry and Public Interest release of highly informative Monthly Bulletin "Vaniga Ithazh" for free distribution to members.
